WildCore Honey Jar

Wild by Nature, Pure at the Core

At WildCore Honey, we believe honey should taste like the land it comes from. For us, that means keeping things simple, local, and true to the bees. Our hives are placed in a small, suburban corner of Woodbridge, Virginia, where the bees gather nectar from the mix of local blooms that thrive in our area.

They forage across the trees, gardens, and community green spaces that make up our surroundings—creating honey that naturally reflects the character of the place we live. No two seasons taste exactly the same, and that’s part of what makes it special.

Every jar is gently strained, never heated or over-processed, so the natural enzymes, pollen, and full flavor remain intact. It’s honey exactly as the bees intended.

Our Story

WildCore Honey began with simple curiosity. I’ve always been fascinated by bees—the way they move, communicate, and work together with such intelligence and intention. I wanted to understand what helps them thrive, what they need, and how to become more in tune with their rhythms, the seasons, and the natural world around us. For me, beekeeping was never about the honey. The honey became a blessing, but the real purpose was to honor our interconnectedness with nature.

I’ve always believed deeply in the power of our environment—how it can harm us, but also how it can profoundly heal us. Bees vibrate at frequencies that support life. Their hive air, their medicine, their presence, and their products all carry a kind of wisdom. Honey, propolis, bee pollen—these gifts are medicinal inside and out. The more I learned, the more I realized how much there is still to learn, and I threw myself into understanding their world. And once I stepped in, I was hooked.

I couldn’t help but share my passion with everyone around me. It felt important—maybe even critical—to help others understand why bees matter, how our choices affect them, and how caring for them is intertwined with caring for ourselves and the planet. Watching people become inspired, curious, or newly connected to nature has only fueled me to keep showing up, learning, and teaching wherever I can.

My approach to beekeeping is simple: gentle, respectful, and as minimally invasive as possible. I focus on planting diverse, beneficial species—plants with rich biochemical properties—to support the bees’ vitality. I work toward a true four-season garden so the bees (and the land) are nourished year-round.

This has become a family journey. My kids are excited young stewards of the bees. They help with the beekeeping process from start to finish, learning how to read bee behavior, stay calm and present, and honor the work these small creatures do. Being around the hives—their frequency, their air, their hum—has strengthened us as a family and deepened our connection to the natural world.

Beekeeping has been empowering, healing, humbling, and endlessly inspiring. And it’s something I am committed to sharing with anyone who feels curious, hopeful, or called to learn more. The bees have given us so much. WildCore Honey is one way we hope to give something meaningful back.
